Bridal Shoots are completed during the week, M-Th, and Sundays if the venue is not booked with another event.

A couple of things to keep in mind. When you decide to do bridals at the venue, there are a couple of important things to remember.
- Keep in mind that this is not a staffed event. You will have free access to the ENTIRE venue grounds and are welcome to take photos anywhere outside on the property. Please be careful by the pond as well and some of the wooded areas.
- We allocate around 2 hours at the venue for your shoot which is typically enough time to get plenty of great shots. However, if you need more time, just make sure you set this up in advance with us.
- There’s no facility charge to our brides to have your Bridal session at Bayou Haven, but we do charge a small $50 fee to help defray the costs of having a staff member go in advance to prepare, unlock the Chapel, and then return afterwards to lock things up.
- The Chapel will be unlocked for you so you can also do photos inside the chapel as well as utilize the Chapel’s Bridal suite so you have a place to change and touch up your make up and hair if needed! We do not unlock or allow photos in the main Reception Hall.
Please Note: We often do tours of the property and venue on weekdays and Sundays so you might see our venue tour manager hosting couples and showing them around the venue. But she will work around your bridal shoot and any interruptions will be minimal.
How do I set up and confirm a date? -

Finding an open Date at the venue
To begin, please access our calendar below and see what dates might be open at the venue to host your bridals. Remember, we only host bridals on Sundays through Thursdays, whenever there's no other event booked. Please pick TWO dates. Your top choice and a second option that would work.
Step 2: -
Verify that your photographer is available on your date
Check with your photographer and make sure they're free to take your photos on your desired date. Also, check with them on what 2 hour time slot you want to reserve. Most shoots are scheduled in the early evening but you a pick any two-hour window you and your photographer decide on.

Communicating your top two (2) desired dates to the venue

Once you submit your request to us, we will verify the date is open, send you a link to pay the $50 access fee, and then email you a short written agreement for your review and signature.

- Verified with your photographer that they're available on these dates
- Verified what time they want to begin the 2 hour session
